Despite the less-than ideal circumstances in which she finds herself, Andrew’s mother is committed to not giving up. The family of three, including Andrew’s younger sister, lives in a one-bedroom apartment where Andrew’s mother sleeps on the floor so her children can have the beds.

Andrew’s family came to Four Oaks when he was just five years old. He was defiant, argumentative, and disobeyed his mother’s rules. The family was enrolled in Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) at Four Oaks and has since seen dramatic improvement.

Andrew has learned to handle his behavior appropriately and can now communicate in a healthy way. Thanks to BHIS, Andrew’s future has never looked brighter.
