We are seeking individuals to help children in foster care in the Ames and Cedar Rapids areas get connected to relatives and natural supports during and after their foster care placement. Duties include timely completion of all search and engagement activities including internet based technologies; interviewing children, parents and relatives; facilitating Family Team Meetings; and working with the childs team to find permanency and lasting connections for every child. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a great team of public and private agency partners on a cutting edge practice! If you have a Bachelors Degree in Social Work (or related field; Masters degree preferred); 3 years experience in child welfare; direct experience with families of children in foster care; and a commitment to strengthening families, make a smart career move, and apply today.
