Annual Gift
Q.: What can I do to help the kids?
A: The easy answer is to provide financial support.
Imagine a common household budget. While unexpected opportunities and challenges often arise, it is the reassurance of predictable income and expenses that give the family security. It allows the family to buy birthday gifts, start the air conditioning on a stifling hot August day, read a book or order a pizza. A realistic budget allows the family to, well, function as a family.
Four Oaks is much the same. Four Oaks relies on
Annual Gifts to “turn the light on,” if you will. Our operating budget is tight, with our needs often outpacing our resources. But
annual gifts enable us to create a realistic picture of our available resources for any given year. These gifts go toward a wide variety of expenses, including new bedding for the kids in residential treatment, staff training to care for the abused child, technology to stay in touch with parents, and gas money to take the kids to a pumpkin farm.
Many of the Four Oaks programs rely solely on donated dollars, so as the needs of children and families continue to grow, so does our dependence on additional resources. Combined with our affiliates, we serve more than 14,000 kids and families each year across the entire state of Iowa. Not surprisingly, each client may have a unique set of needs. Your
annual gift gives Four Oaks the financial ability to respond to whatever those needs may be.
We believe that your financial support is your commitment to the mission to which Four Oaks is devoted: to assure that kids become successful adults.
